「保護された時も、覚せい剤でぶっ倒れたのかと思ったら、取材班は、内偵中の為か、実名を出すことは出来ませんでしたが、
意外にも薬物反応がでなかったことになってますが、
実は反応が出てきたという話もあるんです。
その後、捜査に協力するという条件で、
逮捕しなかったという手打ちがあったそうです」

「元・光GENJIの赤坂晃が覚せい剤で逮捕されたが、
実はかなり前に華原が赤坂が常用者であることを警察に喋っていた、
という話がある。
逮捕自体は警察が売人を摘発するために張り込んでいたところに、
たまたま赤坂が引っかかっただけだが、
これで華原の情報の正確さが証明された。」
さらに、華原は複数の芸能人の名前を挙げていたというのだ。

グラビアアイドル時代、渋谷を拠点としていた暴走族のグループから
覚せい剤を譲り受けていたという噂や、
小室哲哉との破局後、六本木や西麻布で遊んでいたために、
クスリのルートにも詳しいのだとか。
