キーファー・サザーランド（４０）が２５日、
飲酒運転の疑いで逮捕された。

逮捕の数時間後には、カナダの俳優組合から表彰される予定になっていた。
サザーランドは、以前に犯した飲酒運転で保護観察中の身だった。

前回の違反に際しては、裁判所から
アルコール乱用の治療プログラムを受けるよう命じられていた。

ロサンゼルスの警察当局はサザーランドの車が
違法にＵターンしたのを確認し、
午前１時過ぎにビバリーヒルズと
ウエストハリウッドの境界付近で車を停止させた。

警察のスポークスマンによると、
呼気検査でサザーランドの血中アルコール濃度が
法定基準を上回ったため、飲酒運転の疑いで逮捕

その後、ハリウッドの警察署で
２万５０００ドル（約２８７万円）の保釈金を支払い釈放された。
１０月１６日に出廷する予定。

キーファー・サザーランドは24のシーズン9まで
契約になっているので、降板は無いと思いますが
ある程度お叱りを受けるのではないでしょうか。

実はフォーンブース[詳細]の映画にも犯人役で出ていたりと、
その当時はチョイ役で出演していたジャック。
さらにはスタンドバイミーにも出演。
