「結婚の時期については、「いい日を」といろいろ考えていたのですが、元々２人の出会いは飯田圭織がケンジさんと恋人と誤解された事があり、
6月初旬に病院で定期の検査を受けた際に、
偶然、妊娠の初期段階であると判明しました。
驚きましたが、とってもうれしく思いました。
彼と話して、事務所や両親に相談をしました。
お互いに、『このタイミングの結婚が幸せだね。』と
永遠を誓い合う決意を固めました。
『彼と家庭を築いていきたい』という夢が近づいてきた今、

その後期間が空いて、2005年の年末から再会し、交際に発展したそうです。
二人は近々入籍を予定しているみたいですが、
挙式・披露宴はまったくの未定で、
